Earlier last month, Neptec UK took part in the Harwell Campus and Chilton Village annual Full STEAM Ahead Family Fun Day. This event aims to strengthen the bonds between Harwell Campus and Chilton Village, while inspiring children and young adults to consider science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics as possible career choices.

For the second year in a row, Neptec UK built and launched paper rockets with families attending the event. This year, the children launched 750 Neptec rockets which almost doubled last year’s output. Many thanks to Neptec Rocket Scientists Bruno, Oliver, Marcos, Claire and Herman who helped with the building and launching of the rockets. All proceeds from the event go to child hospice care at Helen and Douglas House.
