On July 5th, 2018 Sam Gyimah, UK Minister for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation and Astronaut Tim Peake were at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus to announce a new contract between UK industry and Space agencies and to highlight their support for collaboration between businesses and Space agencies within the Space sector.

In honour of the visit, Neptec UK was invited to make a company presentation to Minister Gyimah at the R100 building on the Harwell Campus.

In the photo, Mike Kearns – Managing Director of Neptec UK can be seen explaining Neptec’s LEIA Lunar Landing sensor which is being designed and built for the European Space Agency’s Luna 27 mission to the moon in 2022.
